There was a song called “Musashi the bee is dead.” It was sung by two women called the Cellstars.

Wearing “honeybee hatch”

Around 1972, the song “Musashi the Hachi no Musashi died” became popular, and it was performed by two female singers called the Cellstars, and it appeared on Kohaku.

So, at first, I didn’t know what it was.

Maybe “Honey Bee Hutch” or anime featuring bees as main characters were popular, so maybe it’s just the old Miyamoto Musashi named Musashi, who had a bee with that name, and wondered if there was some sort of battle going on. was not

Somehow, I wore it as a “honeybee hatch”.

In the case of Honey Bee Hutch, I’m going on an adventure to find my mother, but I’ve encountered various insects, or rather, various incidents, and I thought it would be like fighting and dying.

Because of that, it seems to have been popular with small children.

What about student movements?

However, when I look into it as an adult, I feel like I understand, but children don’t understand that at all.

This song is said to have been written by a poet named Ryohei Uchida, and Takao Hirata, who is probably the leader of the Cell Stars, put the music to that poem and made it into this song.

The content of this poem is about the student movement that was going on around that time, or rather just before that, about a student named Musashi who challenged the country to a battle and lost, with the animal bee as the main character “Musashi”. The country is the sun, and he said to the sun that he was burned to death.

I’m a little scared of what’s going on…

When the students of the student movement went to the country, were they burned to death?

I don’t think so, but in fact, there was also the incident at Mt. Asama, so isn’t it a lie?

Children do not understand the Japan-US Security Treaty

I don’t know why this kind of poem was so popular with children, but… I think there are many songs and stories about animals, but I’m sure there was a way to promote it at the time, so if you put a little on it, it will sell. I wonder… But the content is scary.

I don’t think children understand the Japan-US Security Treaty…

It seems that it was amazing at this time, but I guess it was independence from the United States. There are still extraterritorial U.S. military bases in various places, so he says that the land is the United States, so he somehow still feels that Japan is a vassal state of the United States.

However, thanks to the United States, the economy has recovered, and the Japanese people are no longer socialist, and I feel that they have become more gentlemanly.

I feel good about this. But have you lost your strength to fight? Will she be out as soon as China blames her now, will America protect her? Do you own an atomic bomb? The American mothership has it, so it’s okay. It’s a tough question, but…

Thanks to Musai the bees?

For the time being, Musashi the bee fought and died.

Guys, after quitting student activism, he became a serious office worker, and Japan was able to compete with the rest of the world in terms of economic recovery, the bubble economy, and technology. Even office workers forgot to eat and sleep, forgot about the student movement, and worked hard.

Thanks to you, I became wealthy. She was a woman in the Red Army, and she probably wouldn’t be able to get medical care overseas, but when her health deteriorated, Japan was peaceful, so she returned to Japan. In the past, she was a scary person who would purge and she would also cause terrorism…

Was it via the Philippines?

I also do Musashi the bee.

As an adult, when I ask him, “Musashi the bee is dead,” he sounds like this, but what do you think?
