その高橋さんが、細野さんは天才だと・・・。これってどういうことなんでしょうか。

それにしてもずいぶん昔の話ではあると思いますが、
Yukihiro Takahashi said that Haruomi Hosono is a genius. Ryuichi Sakamoto was also said to be a genius.
Yukihiro Takahashi said that Haruomi Hosono is a genius.
When I was staring at YouTube, Mr. Yukihiro Takahashi said that Mr. Haruomi Hosono is a genius. he is interesting He’s a musician you both like, isn’t he? Yukihiro Takahashi was in Sadistic Mika Band and was in a band with Kazuhiko Kato and Masayoshi Takanaka. Even the band is different. A rock band led by Kazuhiko Kato is going to Europe rather than England, so it’s a great story.
When I heard the story of the starting point of “Happy End”.
That Mr. Takahashi and Mr. Hosono are geniuses… What does this mean? Mr. Hosono is a genius on the bass, or rather, when I heard about the starting point of “Happy End”, everyone said that he was originally very good at playing the guitar, and it wasn’t like that at the start, but he had an image and an ideal for the future. A group of people who were obsessed with Western music got together and formed a band, gained experience and became proficient, becoming studio musicians. Do YMO. It became a worldwide hit, and as Ryuichi Sakamoto became active worldwide, “YMO” became a band that was recognized around the world. Great story.
That’s why I came up with the idea of “YMO”.
But the origin of this story is Haruomi Hosono. That’s amazing. According to Haruomi Hosono, he said something about it, but the president of the office asked if there was a good plan soon, so he had the idea of ”YMO” and the base he had been working on until now. With the idea of expressing musical instruments with electronic sounds, we teamed up with engineers who were good at synths, gathered high-level musicians, and came up with the idea of “YMO”. Even so, the level of these three musicians is so amazing that I don’t think they’re doing great melodies, but the composition of the music is amazing. I hear something and think so. “YMO” is amazing.
The history of the super band is amazing.
So, what about Mr. Hosono? Are you a genius? I think Yukihiro Takahashi is also amazing… A long time ago, Mr. Hosono was doing something like “Tropical Dundee”, and before that he was in Tin Pan Ale in Yuming’s backing band, so before that he was Mr. Nobuyasu Okabayashi and he was having trouble with his work. I don’t think so, but I think it’s the idea of wanting to do “Happy End” music forever. You still think so, don’t you? Even so, the career of “Happy End”, “Tinpan Ale” and “YMO” is truly genius. Respect to you.
Speaking of Haruomi Hosono’s career,
Speaking of Mr. Haruomi Hosono, there is a famous story that his grandfather was the only Japanese who survived the Titanic. I heard that this grandfather was a railroad bureaucrat, but I think he is a very important person. Mr. Hosono himself grew up as an enviable city kid, from the elementary school in Shirokane in Minato-ku, Tokyo to the junior high school in Aoyama, from his birth to his childhood life in the best place in Japan. He has an image of being rich enough that anyone can tell by asking where he was born and raised. The university is Rikkyo University and he is also a high level botchan school.
He was baptized with folk songs when he was in high school and seems to have liked Bob Dylan, but after that he has a lot of band careers. He made his debut as a bassist in a band called April Fool’s Day, and after that he belonged to that famous band called Happy End. This band called Happy End is quite a super band and his members are Takashi Matsumoto, Eiichi Otaki and Shigeru Suzuki, all of whom are very famous people. Interestingly, all of the four members are talented music creators when it comes to music, and Takashi Matsumoto later became very famous as a lyricist. Eiichi Otaki’s songs are also selling like crazy, and Shigeru Suzuki plays guitar solos for various singers as a super guitarist. Speaking of Mr. Haruomi Hosono, in the end he was active worldwide in the form of YMO.
Back band era is long
What I find interesting is that when I was in Happy End, I was in the backing band for various musicians, especially Nobuyasu Okabayashi. I don’t know what kind of songs Happy End put out, but when I gathered the winds that would be highlighted later, it became an era where it was possible to understand that songs like “He is a super band”, and he wrote Happy End’s songs. I think it’s a song that sold well after being told to listen to it. I don’t think I did much at the time…
As for Caramel Mama, Tin Pan Alley, and Yuming’s backing band after that, I still think that it was the turning point of the era, from folk songs to new music, and after all it was a transition from minor to major seven chords. However, I’m not sure about the chord progression around here, but I feel like Mr. Hosono had a lot of influence, but… As for the chord progression of Yuming’s song, Mr. Hosono has a lot of influence on the arrangement. I feel like there was, but what do you think? Everything is in the form of Yuming’s songwriting, so he’s not sure about that, but I think he was quite influenced by Yuming’s senior’s arrangement… . There are quite a few interesting chord progressions…
As Haruomi Hosono
After that, Mr. Hosono took his own band and sang songs, but as I said earlier, I think it was tropical dandy or something like that, but I don’t think there were many hit songs at that time. but. So he will be in the form of YMO. In response to the consultation, Mr. Hosono started doing it, and it seems that he is YMO. I think that the characteristic is that he is a synthesizer, but as for the synthesizer, there was a technical collaborator who assembled the equipment, and he was Hideki Matsutake, and I think it’s a pretty famous story. This person, Hideki Matsutake, studied under Isao Tomita and learned synthesizer. I think Leo, the Great Jungle Emperor, is famous, but it is very interesting that there is a history in this area, such as the sound of that magnificent orchestra. It is precisely because of the series of musical talents that originally existed in Japan that he became YMO. I think it’s amazing that you paid attention to this area, but what do you think? After all, is the Japanese animation industry the best in the world? As for Mr. Hosono, I think he has a lot of talent as a musician, such as chord progressions, and his talent as a so-called producer who can combine various things, but after YMO, he has been a producer of various bands. I think it is, but I think Sheena & Rockets is the same. Personally, I’m sure he’s made a big profit, and I think he deserves it. It’s amazing.
I was doing something funny…
After YMO was a little out of his prime, I think he appeared on many comedy shows and so-called variety shows. I feel like I was
Even so, I think it was a long time ago, but now all three of us have the feeling of being elderly. “I think you’re making enough money with a little bit of producer work, but what do you think?” Mr. Hosono seems to have used his talent as Mr. Hosono… Indeed, he is a person whose name is engraved in the history of Japanese music, especially pop music. It seems that he has also received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, so he has the highest honor as a Japanese, and in the sense that he has contributed greatly to Japan… I was born in Tokyo and have lived while absorbing the best of Japanese culture.
