さすがにユーミンは、すごい人です。バックのついたティンパン・アレーもすごいです。

ユーミンが出るまでは暗いフォークソングだった。

高校の時だったか、それまではフォークソングを聞いていて　ギターのコードはマイナーだらけで　そりゃ暗い歌を歌って、人間はどうだとか、日本はどうだとか　あと、社会はどうよなんて感じの歌をひとしきり聞いて　歌って・・・。それで、フォークソングにも飽きてきた頃にロックンロールです。キャロルとかですね。その中から矢沢永吉がソロでデビューしたと同時期だったと思いますが、ユーミンが出てきた。

ユーミンはファッショナブルで明るい。

始めはひこうき雲という歌で　年齢も確か17歳か18歳ぐらいだったと思うが、初めは森山良子の再来的な言われ方で　でも歌を聴くと森山涼子には似ていない、ユーミンはユーミンで、個性的な歌は歌詞とかメロディーとあってて　とても魅力的でしょ。そのまた、歌詞がいい。なんか、ファッショナブルというか、都会的というか、またメルヘンチックというか　突然ですけれどって感じで　いきなり世の中が明るくなった。ギターのコードなんかもマイナーからメジャーへ　っていうかメジャーセブンコードを多用してて　ちょっとボサノヴァチックでオシャレ。もうびっくりです。それで、真似してギターのコードも覚えてって感じで　少しづつ荒井由美を覚えていく。それと並行して思春期が過ぎていくって感じではありましたが。洋楽はウェストコーストの音を聞いてましたが、もうすでにビートルズとかストーンズとかの時代では暗喰って　ロックに関しては、ハードロックの時代でしたし　うるさくって少し聞きづらいってのもあって、ウェストコーストです。

バックバンドがティンパンアレイだった。

それで、ユーミンのアルバムが出て　その頃のバックバンドがすごい。キャラメルママとかティンパンアレイとか、名前は変わるが一緒のバンドだと思いますが、なんとなくですが、林立夫とか鈴木茂とか細野春臣とか　そんなメンバーで　有名なスタジオミュージシャン揃いで、でも　松任谷正隆は知りませんでしたが、松任谷正隆はリーダーなんですよね。ハイカラな音出すよねって思ってましたが、また、吉田拓郎がラジオで昔話をしていて　このころの自分のバックバンドがティンパンアレイだったら　もっとレコードが売れてたみたいな話をしていたが、その通りなんでしょう。そんな感じでバックバンドがよかった。

コバルトアワーがよかった。

コバルトアワーに始まって　結婚されて紅雀、そのあとはあまり聞くに無いですが、いいアルバムを沢山出されています。ユーミンはなんかで言ってましたが、歌を歌う気がなかったみたいで　作曲家としてデビューしたかったそうですが、そういえば、アメリカのほうでも、キャロルキングとかジョニミッチェルとかは、やっぱ作曲家デビューで、でも、どうしても歌を歌うことになるが、その頃の恰好いいミュージシャンの一種のスタイルだったのかもしれない。

コンサートがだんだん過激に。

また、ユーミンぐらい売れてれば、印税収入もすごいんでしょうね。たぶん　なんだかコンサートがどんどん過激になっていく。お金使ってるよねって感じでしょう。やっぱり、ファンへの感謝の心なんでしょうか、それとも　ただの趣味なんでしょうか、ホールの中で水のショーをやったり、空を飛んだり　大変だと思います。
